It is once again time for Ygap’s premier gala event; the Annual YGAP Thank-You Ball! For 2010 we have chosen the title ‘Jambo Rafiki’, meaning “hello, friend” in Swahili and to match we have themed this occasion with a distinctly North African beat that welcomes you to ‘The Night Bazaar’.
The Jambo Rafiki Ball will be hosted at the Atlantic, Docklands on the 13th of November 2010. Please check our Google map for directions.
As our primary fundraising event of 2010, the Jambo Rafiki Ball will be 500+ person sit down dinner including a three course fine dining menu, exotic food and boutique wines. Local and international performers, great prizes and lots of surprises.
This year looks to surpass the energy and success our ‘Asante Sana’ Ball of 2009 which entailed a sell-out event that raised enough money to fund an entire reconstruction of YGAP’s Primary School in Ntenyo, Southern Rwanda!!
All monies raised at the Ball will go towards building the Education and Medical facility at the Children’s Village in Ghana – building on the beautiful relationship formed through YGAP’s first trip to Africa in 2008/2009.
